Built in Auckland by Lifters. Made for Real Training.

About GravoMax Fitness

We’re a New Zealand-owned team built around one belief: training deserves equipment you can truly trust. Not “looks strong online” trust — the kind you feel when the bar is loaded and everything stays rock-solid.

Why We Exist

GravoMax didn’t come from a marketing plan. It started with a hard lesson in a real training environment. Our founding team has years in weightlifting and years inside training facilities — and we kept seeing the same issue: “commercial” equipment that couldn’t handle commercial use.

In one situation, poor-quality gear contributed to an injury — and the slow after-sales response that followed disrupted training while people were left waiting. That moment flipped a switch.

So a group of friends — including retired weightlifting athletes — made a decision: If we can’t find gear we’d trust in our own gyms, we’ll build it ourselves — and back it properly.

GravoMax has been years in the making (close to five years of planning, development and refining). We didn’t rush it. We built the standards first — then built the brand.

What We Stand For

VALUE

Commercial-grade stability at a home-gym price

Our goal was never “cheap”. Our goal is honest value — stability you can feel, load confidence you can trust, and durability that stays solid long-term.

MODULARITY

Racks & rigs that grow with you

Most people build their dream setup over time. That’s why our racks and rigs are designed as systems — start simple, then expand with compatible add-ons and DIY combinations.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We don’t just pick products — we shape them

Our team is hands-on in design decisions and factory communication. That’s also why we can support custom options on selected products and rack/rig builds.

STANDARD

If we wouldn’t train on it, we won’t sell it

This is our simplest rule — and it shows up in how we check, test, and support every product.

Quality Control

Anyone can say “premium”. We prefer to show the process that backs it.

  • QC before dispatch: pre-assembly checks at the factory to catch issues early.
  • QC after arrival: when stock lands in Auckland, our team installs and re-tests for stability, fitment and finish.
  • Real-use evaluation: because specs aren’t the same as training.
What this means for you: when you rack a bar, load plates, or train day after day — your setup should feel stable, safe, and built properly.
