Classic Iron for Serious Power

Nothing beats the sound and feel of old-school iron. Therefore, we purposefully build the GravoMax Cast Iron Olympic Weight Plates for athletes who demand raw, indestructible durability. Furthermore, since we cast them from premium heavy-duty iron, these plates actively deliver a highly consistent, solid feel for every rep on the platform.

Unlike thick rubber bumper plates, our cast iron plates feature a significantly slimmer profile. As a result, you can load substantially more weight onto your barbell sleeves. Consequently, they serve as the ultimate choice for heavy deadlifts, squats, and bench presses in any high-performance home gym or commercial strength facility.

Common Questions (FAQ)

Will these fit my barbell?

Yes. These plates feature a standard 50mm (2-inch) collar opening. Because of this, they fit all standard Olympic barbells, curl bars, and plate-loaded gym machines perfectly.

Are these bumper plates?

No, these are solid cast iron plates. Unlike rubber bumper plates, you cannot drop them directly onto hard floors from overhead. Instead, you should use them for controlled heavy lifts on proper commercial gym flooring.

Why choose cast iron over rubber?

Cast iron plates have a much slimmer profile. Therefore, you can load significantly more weight onto the bar for heavy deadlifts and squats. In addition, they provide that classic “clanking” sound and industrial feel that many advanced lifters prefer.

Do you deliver heavy items NZ-wide?

Yes. We reliably offer NZ-wide delivery for all heavy weights. Alternatively, if you live in Auckland, you can conveniently select local pickup at checkout to save on freight costs.
