Is the 100LB bag suitable for beginners?
Generally, no. 100LB (45.3KG) of shifting sand feels significantly heavier than a 100LB barbell. If you are new to sandbag training, we highly recommend starting with our 50LB or 75LB models to safely master the technique before progressing to this weight.
Does the sandbag come filled with sand?
No. To keep shipping costs incredibly low for our customers across New Zealand, this strongman sandbag is shipped completely empty. You will need to purchase clean, dry sand locally (usually available very cheaply at hardware stores) to fill it.
Will the sand leak out during heavy drops?
It is highly secure. The bag utilizes a specialized double-sealed system. First, an internal heavy-duty zipper securely locks the sand inside. Then, a secondary thick Velcro flap folds over the zipper, creating a robust barrier against leakage even during intense dropping.
